Numbing Cream

After you get comfortable, the first step is applying a topical numbing cream

Surgical vs Nonsurgical
Penis Enlargement

Surgical penis enlargement procedures take varying approaches, but they all carry the risks of surgery. Surgically invasive methods open up the area to infection and introduce the chance of lasting trauma to the thousands of nerves and blood vessels in and around the penis. This can lead to performance issues, scarring, or serious health complications.

While nonsurgical penis enhancements don’t carry the same risks as surgery, some have their own risks and limitations. Most are not medically proven, others are only temporarily effective, and a few are very dangerous, resulting in tissue damage or performance problems.

Surgical Penis Enlargement Options

Alloderm or Belladerm

  • Processed skin from a cadaver used for grafting or implanting.
  • Requires surgery to implant the material into the penile skin.
  • Risks include infection, tissue damage, and material breakage (pieces may “float” under the skin, causing an unnatural feeling).

Dermal Grafts

  • Requires two surgical procedures: one to harvest the donor skin from your body (typically the lower abdomen or buttocks) and then a procedure to implant the skin into the penis.
  • Risks include infection and tissue damage at both the penis and the donor site, as well as possible disintegration of the grafts under the penile skin.

Rubber Silicone Implant

  • Requires surgery to implant the silicone implant into the penis.
  • Carries a higher risk of infection due to the foreign object implanted in the penis.
  • Other risks include the silicone implant erupting or the possibility of the implant breaking through the skin after time.

Suspensory Ligament Cutting

  • Requires surgery to sever one of the ligaments that attach the penis to the pubic bone.
  • Does not actually change the size of the penis, but it may look about a quarter to a half an inch longer when flaccid since more of it hangs down. However, this will not increase your erect penis length, and may actually result in a shorter erect length.
  • Without the suspensory ligament intact, the penis is unstable during erections and lacks the support to point as high as before. This can make sex uncomfortable.

Other Nonsurgical Penis Enlargement Options

Vacuum Pumps

  • Medical grade vacuum pumps are FDA approved for temporary treatment of erectile dysfunction and provide a temporary erection for men with underlying medical problems.
  • The results will only last for a few hours at most.

Pills Or Lotions

  • Prescription medications such as Viagra or Cialis can assist with providing a normal erection in men with erectile dysfunction, however they will not provide an increase in size.
  • Over-the-counter pills will not cause the penis to increase in size. Most of the effects of these medications are unproven, and in some cases can cause problems with blood pressure and other complications.
  • There is no medical proof that lotions will increase penis size.

Manual Stretching Exercises

  • Commonly known as jelqing, there is no medical evidence that these techniques lead to a size increase.
  • Excessive jelqing risks include vascular damage and erectile dysfunction.

Extenders And Stretchers

  • Extenders include mechanical stretching devices and “hangers”, devices applied to the penis that are then attached to a weight and worn from minutes to hours (with breaks).
  • Mechanical extenders have some scientific studies to support growth in penis length up to .5 inch, however this involved wearing the extender for six hours a day for several months, and extenders cannot be camouflaged under clothing.
